  1. Oh, that is brilliant! When I was a kid, I had a Scalextric setup suspended from the ceiling in my room. Just stick a couple of chairs under it and lower the whole thing and race away. Afterwards, pull a cord and secure it and presto, free floor space.
The only thing stopping me from doing exactly what Leo does is the fact that my ceiling now is concrete...and someone else's floor.

    1. That sounds like a great set up- genius. I found that fiddling about putting the Scalextric track together was painful so being able to get straight into the racing must have been brilliant and your friends must have been envious... I know I am!

    2. Yep, especially as a kid as locking the track sections together took precision and a bit of strength. Dad just put the track up in the default figure-8 setup, drilled a few holes through the track and put wood screws into the MDF board it rested on. I bet we could have hung the thing on its side or upside down without problem.

  2. Y'know, I wonder if a Bloodbowl/Dreadball board would fit on one of those breakfast in bed type tables.

    1. Yes, I think that it would fit. Lots of dice rolling to keep my wife awake as well!
